School Desegregation Pickets, 1964

Chapter 11 deals with Wisconsin's more recent past, examining the many changes since 1950.

Students will learn about the growth of transportation and population migration and the dramatic transformation in the kinds of work people do. They will also learn how these changes challenged everything from how live to what we believe; how we look at ourselves and how we think about the future.
