Bibliographic References: | Although built as a saloon circa 1884 by Henry Glantz, information provided for historic photos cites that this building was remodeled by Dr. A Carl Marth after the R.W. Boldt Drug Company moved across the street, Tax rolls, Village of West Bend, 1884 and City of West Bend, 1885, Photo (WCHS 015,368; 1930). A historic photo indicates that the Boldt concern had moved across the street by circa 1926 (WCHS 015, 219; c1926). Based on that information, a circa 1926 date has been ascribed for the remodel. |
