| Additional Information: | As of 1987, Landvatter's was located in this building. The construction date of 1916 is inscribed in the cornice, immediately above a cartouche that includes the initials “JWB.” The building extends to North 7th Avenue, the west half of which was built as a warehouse for the hardware business that originally occupied the building. Between Sanborn maps and aerials, the west portion was built sometime between 1928 and 1941, with appearance suggesting a circa 1930 date of construction. Today, the west portion is operated as a separate business. |
