NOTES
Additional Information:Garage exists on property.

2000: "Constructed in ca. 1900, this two-story gabled-ell was surveyed in 1976 and reported to have had clapboard siding. Since then, the home appears to have been sided with vinyl. However, the two-over-two, double-hung sash windows looks to be original. A shed-roof porch with turned posts fronts a portion of the one-story ell wing. A gabled, modern garage stands adjacent and to the south.

Due to the lack of a building notation on plat maps, as well as thorough field observation, it is probable that the house was not built prior to ca. 1900. By 1914, the 40-acre parcel was owned by Jacob Straus, who maintained the land until at least 1929. Subsequent owners include P. Koch and William H. Hill, likely from 1940 until the mid-1960s."
