Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. Damaged by fire on 12/4/2005. First services for this congregation were held in the old Prairieville Academy (forerunner of Carroll College) on this site in 1866. The group was then known as the Erste Deutsche Reformiste Kirche. The present (as of 1975) structure was completed in 1891 at a cost of $8,000.
