Additional Information: | This octagonal bandstand is constructed of painted wood shingles with wood trim. It rests on a concrete foundation and is capped by an asphalt-shingled roof with bell cast eaves. The openings on the second level are twice as tall as those on the first level. When not in use, shutters cover the wall openings, with the exception of one which is currently a fixed-pane window. An entry door is located on a northeast facade. According to a historic photo, the bandstand was originally painted a darker color or the wood shingles were stained. The historic photo shows a band playing on the second level. |
