Additional Information:Pre-1932 address was 7123 W. National. 2 STORY BLDG. W/LARGE 1 STORY ADDITION. The Smith-Blodgett Hardware Store was located here from 1910-1913. Was the Neis-Freund Hardware Store from 1913-1920. Became the Neis Hardware Co. in 1920.

Previously surveyed in 1980, as a non-contributing building in the National Commercial Historic District. As of 2007 the district no longer holds.
