Additional Information: | 2023: This c.1905, American Foursquare house has a square-plan, hip roof, and rusticated concrete-block foundation and wall material. The front (east) facade has a full-width porch with concrete-block supports and original wood railings. The facade has a prominent gable dormer with an original Palladian window and scalloped wood shingles, which is mirrored on the rear (west) elevation. One part of the Palladian window on the facade has been infilled with a vent. The side (north) elevation has a secondary entrance. The opposing side (south) elevation has a projecting bay with three, one-over-one, double-hung windows and scalloped wood shingles. The rear (west) elevation has two additional entrances: one on the ground level and one within a small porch with a concrete-block support and wood steps. The remaining windows are replacement, one-over-one, double-hung sash with stone sills. The rear portion of the lot has a detached garage with a side-gable roof and two overhead doors. |
