Additional Information: | 1993- "This three barn complex is part of one of the Bruenig family farms. 90727 and 90939 are simple, gabled, board and batten sheathed structures that sit on semi-coursed, quarried stone foundations. 90938 is also a gabled, board and batten sheathed barn, although its foundation was obscured and unobservable. The use is a post-war structure. These barns were identified in the Town of Roxbury/St. Norbert's grant proposal -- no doubt through the Bruenig family connection as well as the nature of the stonework in the two barns' foundations." - "USH 12, Sauk City to Middleton", WisDOT ID #5300-03-01, Prepared by John N Vogel, PhD (1993). |
