Additional Information: | 1993- "Rising from what appears to be a stone foundation, this house combines elements of the Two Story Cube and the American Foursquare styles of architecture. It is a rather plain structure, the only apparent decoration being the decorative swags that crown the two, canted first floor corners. This house was not identified in the Town of Roxbury/St. Norbert's grant proposal. It is, however, owned by the Ballweg family, a family identified in St. Norbert's 1971 history as one of the early Roxbury families." - "USH 12, Sauk City to Middleton", WisDOT ID #5300-03-01, Prepared by John N Vogel, PhD (1993). |
