NOTES
Additional Information:The residence has clapboard siding, a fieldstone foundation, and a metal roof. The gables have wide cornices and decorative seashell detailing in the gable peaks. The building has a variety of window types, including some original 2/2 double hung and a wide mid-century picture window. Many windows have been removed and boarded up. There are two wings – a two story and a smaller lean-to - on the north side that may be later extensions to the original plan. The extension has a field stone foundation, but it appears to be made of larger stones than the southern sections of the house. A front porch has been removed from the south (front) face; there is a covered porch on a concrete slab on the east side. The metal roof is not original. The house has two gabled dormer windows on the south (front) elevation. The interior of the house has been modified throughout the 20th century. Interior fittings, including bead board paneling, kitchen and bathroom cabinets and appliances, and light fixtures, date from the early through late twentieth century.

In addition to the residence, the property also includes multiple metal and timber outbuildings dating to the early to late twentieth century. There is a fieldstone and timber smokehouse, with a shake shingle roof and limestone chimney, located to the southeast of the residence.

This information is added as of October 2020. The property was originally surveyed in 1981.
