Additional Information: | PALLADIAN WINDOWS IN GABLES, ONION DOME TOWER ON CORNER. Previously surveyed in 1995. Since that time, the house, which was covered with asbestos siding, has been re-sheathed with narrow vinyl and new windows have been installed. The house was originally either the Swan or Gilber farmhouse--the property was aquired by the Blue Mound Country Club in 1923. Its unclear as to what it was first used for; however, by no later than the 1950s it was the home of the golf club's superintendent. The building, as of 2015, is still associated with the Bluemound Golf and Country Club (AHI # 77173). |
