Additional Information:ART MODERNE PEDESTRIAN TUNNEL UNDER TRACKS

The Hubbard Park pedestrian tunnel was constructed in 1940 in an Art Moderne style. The tunnel is of concrete construction with a corrugated metal interior. Fluted columns are located on either side of the tunnel entrance with angled concrete wing walls on both sides. The tunnel runs below the Oak Leaf Trail (historically a railroad line).
