| Additional Information: | 2015- "This two-and-one-half-story Queen Anne house was constructed c.1900. It has an irregular footprint on a masonry foundation. Cross gable bays intersect the steeply-pitched pyramidal roof. A short run of concrete steps with a wrought iron hand rail accesses the single story porch that wraps around the southeast corner of the house. The porch has a half-hipped roof with a plain entablature supported by five slender Tuscan columns. Two doors access the house from the porch. The windows are one-over-one units with wood sills and lintels. A Palladian window is located in the gable of the southwest-facing bay. A two-story gabled wing with a small open porch is located on the north-facing elevation. It appears to date to the historic period." -"S Dewey Ave, Railroad St to E Main St", WisDOT #5799-00-63, Prepared by Commonwealth Cultural Resources Group, (2015). |
