The house is L-shaped in plan. The two story main part has a side gabled roof and a full width, hip-roofed enclosed front porch. A lower 1 ½-story wing projects from the east (rear). This wing has a gabled main portion, a shed-roofed lower portion, and small windows in the wall area between the two roofs. The house is clad in vinyl siding and has regularly-spaced one-over-one double hung vinyl windows. The house has a modern shingle roof and aluminum eaves. A 1980 photograph in the AHI record shows fanlights in the gable ends, six-over-six double hung windows, and a square Greek Revival-style porch columns. All of these elements have been modified since 1980.
