NOTES
Additional Information:This structure has a gabled roof sheathed with asphalt shingles. The facade carries a false stepped parapet topped with concrete coping. Three evenly spaced overhead garage door openings exist on the main elevation, fitted with modern metal garage doors. The side elevation carries a large, modern casement window unit, a standard-sized entry door, a pair of original two-over-two double-hung sashes, and two modern garage doors. The rear elevation has a garage door opening infilled with wood.

The building was constructed as the Sussex Garage Company, which was owned by eight stockholders. The company sold Nash cars and Case farm machinery until going bankrupt in 1932. The next owner was Joseph Ries who operated Joe's Service Station until an unknown date. Later owners included Hilbert Manke and Paul Cain. In 1989, the property's gas tanks were removed and the building function (2002) as an automobile repair shop.

Resurveyed January 2017; no visible changes.
