| Additional Information: | ROOF CRESTING,2 FLR POLYGONAL SIDE BAY FULL FRONT PORCH Previously surveyed in 1975. This residence was constructed by Theodore Worthington circa 1860. Worthington was born in Vermont in 1817 and came to Lac La Belle with his father twenty years later. The Worthington family homestead owned 160 acres of land (now in the City of Oconomowoc) and platted most of the city; a street is named in their honor. In addition, Theodore donated land and money for a Methodist Church, parsonage, and the Lincoln School. By 1890 the house was under the ownership of Mrs. H.F. Jennings. The next known owners were P. Fitzgerald (1910) and Charles and Mary Forrest (1920-1940). The structure was later converted to multiple apartments. |
