Additional Information: | 2 STORY PORCH AND BALCONY FLANKED BY 2 STORY BAYS. The earliest known owner was Josiah A. Welch in 1890. Welch owned a livery/hardware shop on East Wisconsin Avenue (where 129 is now). The next known owner was Josiah's son, Halbert E. Halbert was the Mayor of Oconomowoc in the early 1920s and also ran a grocery business next to his father's hardware store/livery on Wisconsin Avenue. The Welch family remained at the residence until at least 1941, when Herman Freudenberg was listed as the occupant. After Freudenberg passed away in 1999, the house was passed on to his daughter and her husband. The house was found vacant in during the 2005 survey. |
