WAS JONES HOUSE HOTEL (OCONOINN), LATER OCONO WOODEN TOY HORSE CO. Previously surveyed in 1979. A building has been at this site since 1884; however, the facade--designed by Chicago architect H. Frederic Beck -- was modified and completed by 1925 for the First National Bank of Oconomowoc. In 1935, it was listed as the Oconomowoc National Bank and remained as such until 1980, when it merged with the Independence Bank of Waukesha. |
