Additional Information:THIS DEPOT HAS BEEN CONSIDERABLY REMODELED, THEN IN 2012 A FIRE CAUSED ADDITIONAL DAMAGE TO THE BUILDING. A SMALL CABOOSE TRAIN CAR IS ATTACHED TO THE WEST SIDE OF THE BUILDING.

"The first Morgan House depot was built in 1861 and burned in 1872. Rebuilt immediately, it thrived as a hotel and eating place until razed in 1923 when the present depot was built. The Northwest Railroad came through West Milton in 1858 and formed a junction with one from Milton. The depot was abandoned and later purchased and remodeled as a restaurant."
