BARGE BOARDS IN GABLE. Previously surveyed in 1975 on a DOT Oconomowoc Map. Historic Name was sometimes recorded as Solverson, and the first name was typically seen as E. Martin or E.M. The residence is a blend of Queen Anne, Colonial Revival and Craftsman styles of architecture. A circa 1990, one story garage addition projects from the south facade of the house. The home was constructed by Oconomowoc lumber yard owner Edward Martin Solveson, in 1910. While he lived in this house, Solverson was the Comptroller for the City of Oconomowoc. The Solveson's lived at this residence until they passed away; Edward in 1943 and Martina in 1945. By 1953, Elmer Ruenze was listed at this address. |
