Bibliographic References: | “Architecture and History Survey: STH 16/60” WHS project number 14-0933/CO. June 2012. Prepared by Mead & Hunt Inc. 2012- "The Helen Kuekenberg House, built in 1909, is a two-and-one-half-story T-plan Queen Anne residence. Resting on a brick foundation, the walls are clad in clapboard and the gable roof is covered in asphalt shingles. The front (southwest) facade features a large central gable wall dormer with cornice returns, and a Palladian window. The front dormer and southeast (side) gable end are clad in decorative wood shingles. A single-story hip-roof porch spans the main elevation and wraps around a portion of the southeast elevation. Wood columns rest on a battered, shingled balustrade with scuppers. Above the porch, four second-story windows are evenly spaced across the main elevation. Fenestration consists of one-over-one, wood, double-hung sash, in single, paired, and triple configurations." -"STH 16/60, Industrial Dr to Manning St (USH 151)", WIS-DOT 1401-02-01 & 1401-02-04, prepared by Mead & Hunt, Inc., (2012). |
