Additional Information:2016- The Smith Road Bridge is a single-span, steel, riveted and bolted, Pratt through truss. The bridge carries Smith Road over Turtle Creek between the towns of La Prairie on the east and Turtle on the west, approximately 10 miles northeast of the city of Beloit. The bridge was constructed in 1910 by the Worden-Allen Company. A plaque located on the eastern portal reads “Built by Worden-Allen Co. Milwaukee Wis.” The bridge currently has a load posting of 10 tons and supports two-way traffic with a single traffic lane. Removed on March 25, 2020. Overhead truss bridge
