Additional Information:Porch across front; returned eaves. Second frame house built in Sheboygan Falls. Originally owned by Temperance group. Built by either George or Chas. Cole for his workmen in the sawmill in the early 1840s. "Charles Cole built this as his home in 1842. His wife Sarah, taught school for the first time in Falls in this building. The home originally stood within a few feet of his retail store located on the corner. The house was restored in 1991." Discovering Historic Sheboygan Falls Walking Tour, not dated.
