Additional Information: | 2002: Numerous changes in the configuration of the parcels in the SE quarter section of Section 23 have occurred since 1875. This quarter section was originally platted with six parcels of which one was 60 acres and the remaining five were 20 acres (Randall 1875). By 1889, two parcels are platted (Foote and Company 1889). The 1920 plat illustrates two large parcels, one 20 acre parcel and the remaining parcel is the subdivided parcel described for the TeRonde Museum (Hixson and Company 1920). By 1941, seven parcels and Abbink's subdivision are located south of the Presbyterian Church (Donohue Publishing company 1941). Queen Anne houses are popular between 1890 and 1910, at this point it is not clear when this house was constructed. |
