NOTES
Additional Information:219 South Oneida Street Frank and Mary Hildebrand Rental House This one-and-one-half-story, frame, hip-roofed Queen Anne house was built circa 1904 as a rental for Frank Hildebrand (City of Rhinelander tax rolls; 1900 and 1908 Sanborn Map of Rhinelander). The house has shingled, front and side gables, and a one-story, hip-roofed entry porch with slender columns. Circa 1910, Hildebrand sold the property to J. M. Hogan. Those house changed hands several times thereafter. Clarence and Ethel Wesley began renting the house circa 1940, eventually buying it and living there until at least 1965 (Rhinelander City Directories). The Hildebrand Rental is a modest example of Queen Anne, with good integrity, but is not distinctive enough to qualify for the National Register for its architecture.
