Additional Information: | Pre-1888. A frame, Gothic styled cottage on a stone foundation that has intersecting sloping roofs intersected by a smaller steeply pitched gable. Decorative bargeboards, a classical inspired porch and a small shed roof extension to the east further characterize this small cottage. This cottage is architecturally important to the community of Darlington because it is the only 19th century Gothic influenced house of frame construction to remain relatively in its original state. |
