NOTES
Additional Information:SHAPED PARAPET. Contractor was William Gessert. The Emma and Hans Mueller Cafe was established in the former Blair's ice cream parlor in 1917. From 1913-1917, Hans worked at the Eagle Hotel. This building not only originally housed the cafe but also the offices of Drs. William G. Dormann and William Berndt as well as apartments on the second floor. Carl Mueller became Hans' partner in 1938. Mueller's Cafe was in operation until 1947 when the building was sold to Harry Kowelsky. He also ran the building as a cafe before selling it to James Wobig in 1953 who also operated a restaurant in this building. C.E. Wobig then took over the building and continued the restaurant tradition..
