Additional Information: | The B in the photo code stands for BKFD. Another map name is R. A. Smith, revised 1993. Frank Ramstack, the original owner of Ramstack Tavern, immigrated from Bavaria in 1844. He owned and operated the tavern from 1881 until 1920 when his son, Joseph Sr., took over for the next 27 years. During this period, the buildings exterior ws renovated. In 1948, Joseph Jr. continued business until the sale of the tavern in 1956 to Bill Verbrick. Later remodelings took place in c. 1930. |
