Additional Information: | Projecting wooden triangular pediment shaped window heads; small flat roofed one bay porch with turned post and balustrade. This residence was built for Frank Bishop, who then sold it to bridge builder and foreman Owen Hughes. Hughes owned the house between c. 1885 and c. 1930. Initial research indicates that none of the occupants of this house are historically significant either individually or as a group within the proposed historic district. This building does not meet the criteria of the NRHP for architectural significance because of a lack of integrity. However, this building has sufficient architectural character to contribute to the proposed historic district. |
