Additional Information: | The B in the photo code stands for BKFD. Another map name is City Engineer 10-1-92. The Galobinskee House was built by a polish mason, Chris Galobinskee, for his family in 1885. Originally it was a sheep farm. Galobinskee did masonry for many people in the area, including much of the work on the Reinders Grain Mill. The Priebes bought the property in 1960 and turned the main building into a shop. The chimney of the house is made of fieldstone. Small barns and two sheds are related buildings. The house's windows have been replaced with modern replacements, and a large one-story addition has been attached to the west and north sides. Previously surveyed in 1979. |
