Although Lightfoot, an electrical engineer, is identified as the owner, he resided at 1850 68th Street in Wauwatosa, both before and after the home's construction. The first confirmed owner-occupants of the home were Edmund Jr. and Isabelle Wabislewski as of the 1940 census. Permits indicate an addition was made to the rear of the house in 1957 (permit, 9 July) at a cost of $3,500, at which time Alvin Grellinger was the owner. Fire damage repairs were done in both 1973 and 1989. |
