Additional Information: | Because of this building's more recent construction date and the lack of historically important occupants, it is not individually significant nor is it contributing in the historic district. Exhibiting a contemporary styled red brick facade, this building has a one-story concrete block east section and a two-story one-bay building constructed in the 1930s on the west end. A screened porch located on the second story of the east elevation projects over the one-story section on the east side of the building. A pair of recessed entrance doors are placed on the west end of the facade while a single entrance door and store window characterized the east one-story section of the building. This irregularly shaped building does not contribute to the Main Street Historic District and is not architecturally significant because of its recently constructed addition and recently remodeled contemporary facade. |
