NOTES
Additional Information:Lawrence Stone was born around 1870 in St. Paul, MN. He moved to Milwaukee in 1895. As of 1911, he was working in furniture sales. He helped organize the American Household Supply Co. in 1909 and quickly became its secretary-treasurer. He remained in this position until his death in 1945. From at least 1929-1932, he was president of the Suburban Building and Loan Assoc. In October, 1945, Hazel sold the house to James C. and Adeline L. Sweitzer. James was employed by the Sivyer Steel Casting Co. They sold the house in August, 1951 to Elroy H. and Fern E. Schultz. He was the assistant treasurer at Gugler Lithographic. They sold the house in April, 1961 to William F. and Shirley A. Schreiber. In May of 1967, they divided a second floor bedroom into two rooms. These two rooms were turned into a master bedroom by the Galigas. The Schreibers sold the house in 1990 to James C. and Janet R. Byrd. James and Robin Gaye Elliott bought the house in 1995. The Galigas bought it in 1999.
