Bibliographic References:The Daily Reporter, 14 July 1925, reports that contracts were awarded for the subject house (originally 139 Upper Parkway). The general contractor is identified as Wauwatosan E. P. Potter, who did masonry and carpentry work. Reliance Electric Co. did electrical; excavating, Frank Kutschenreuter, Wauwatosa and plumbing to O.H. Dittner, Milwaukee. City directories and the 1930 census confirms that the Powells resided here.
