NOTES
Additional Information:The John Cremer House is a two and one-half story Queen Anne style building with a steeply-pitched hip roof, projecting pedimented dormers and a pent-roofed tower. The walls of the building are covered with vinyl siding, which has covered up some of its original features. Windows are generally large and asymmetrical. A large front porch spans the east elevation. It has a spool-and-spindle balustrade and balustrade on the roof. It is supported by piers and columns. Projecting from the southwest elevation is an enclosed porch that has been remodeled.

This house is a duplicate of the Dr. C.H. Cremer House at 418 Broadway. John Cremer was C.H. Cremer's half-cousin and was a notable businessman in the community. Later the house was used for the Sacred Heart Catholic Church rectory. It is a good example of the Queen Anne style and the work of noted architects Chandler and Parks.
