NOTES
Additional Information:The orginal building on this site was constructed around 1860 by John Luber, who operated a grocery and saloon business here. Between c. 1885 and prohibition, the building housed a number of different saloons. After prohibition, the building housed a restaurant, tailor shop and newspaper shop. The building was rebuilt by the Seager family in 1946.

This building does not meet the NRHP criteria for historical significance because it did not house a significant business and the building is less than 50 years old.

Constructed as a frame building around 1860 for John Luber, this former saloon and grocery store was rebuit and received a contemporary brick facade in 1946. Featuring a plain flat brick surface, this two-story contemporary facade has plain rectangular windows on the upper story and a recessed entrance on the metal and glass storefront. A painted concrete block addition is located at the rear.

This building is not architecturally significant because it is of modern-contemporary design and less than 50 years old. As a result, this building does not contriubte to the historic character of the proposed Main Street Historic District.
