NOTES
Additional Information:This 2-story Commercial Vernacular building was constructed in 1907 as Heck Hardware. It is rectangular in plan with painted brick walls and a flat roof. The front elevation faces east and is symmetrical in plan. The original storefront windows on each side of a recessed center entrance have been replaced with downsized pairs of single pane windows and a brick veneered bulkhead. Vertical cast stone bands are located on each side of the center entrance and at the northern end of the storefront. An iron beam spans the top of the storefront; just below this (obscuring any transom windows that might remain) is a rigid awning. The second story contains three singly-placed 1-over-1 windows with stone sills and lintels. The façade is capped by a decorative brick cornice.
