Additional Information:Pediment shaped window heads; six over clear plate glass windows; one story flat roofed addition on west side; gable wooden door hood over side lighted entrance door.

This was the home of Charles Mackay, the superintendent of the city waterworks plant, from c. 1900 to c. 1930. Since the waterworks plant was built in 1894, Mackay was one of the first of these public works officials.

This house has some historical interest as the home of Charles Mackay, waterworks head.

O. K. Coe was born at Holland Patent, Trenton Township, Oneida County, New York, September 25, 1815, became a famer, and when a young man joined the stream of emigration to the West, and removed to Wisconsin where he resided many years, located successively at Ixonia, Beaver Dam, and Watertown. Later in life he settled in Indianapolis, Ind., where he lived some twenty years and died in February, 1895, in his eightieth year.
Capt. John Coe-3 was also the father of Abigail who was born November 11, 1702, who married John Guthrie, (page 88, 89) from whose line Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill was born.
