Was president of the American Society of Bacteriologists in 1938. Was a fellow with the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Was the winner of the Wisconsin Medical Alumni Association Emeritus Faculty Award in 1961. He did important work on the morphology of bacteria, dysentary and poliomyelitis. |
