Additional Information:Clark lived here from 1917 until the 1960s. Was a professor of Bacteriology at the University of Wisconsin from 1914-1952. Became an emeritus professor in 1952. Was president of the American Society of Bacteriologists in 1938. Was a fellow with the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Was the winner of the Wisconsin Medical Alumni Association Emeritus Faculty Award in 1961. He did important work on the morphology of bacteria, dysentary and poliomyelitis.
