| Additional Information: | Built in the 1850s for an early Watertown merchant, the Fischer house has a low gable roof with a cross gable over the ell, Italianate influenced triangular pediment shaped window head and two over two windows. A full length porch with part of the spindle frieze remaining has been repaired and new elements added. Reportedly, the house has double brick walls and hand-hewn interior beam construction. Garage. The Fischer house is not architecturally significant because of a lack of integrity. |
