STONE FROM HUNTER'S QUARRY. 2017- "St. Mary’s Episcopal Church (AHI No. 7482) was constructed in 1870 in the Gothic Revival style. The walls are clad in rough-faced limestone. It has a steeply pitched side gable roof covered in asphalt shingles. Small “buttresses” are located at each corner of the building. The main (south) face features the entrance in a two-story, square bell-tower with crenellated peaks. The entrance features a pointed arch door surround and what appear to be the original double wood doors. Windows are generally pointed arch with stained glass windows. A bellcote on the west side of the building was installed in 1912. The church currently shares a lot with a parish hall constructed in 1979 and a Neo-Gothic Church constructed in 2010." -"STH 67: Summit Ave Bridge (B-67-10)", WisDOT#3100-07-00, Prepared by Mead & Hunt, Inc., (2017).
