NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' titled "Memorial Park Historic District" exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation-Public History.

Previously surveyed in 1986.

Open porch with paneled posts; triangular pediment shaped window head on main structure and arched brick window hoods on rear addition.

This was the home of Gustav Buchheit, an attorney around 1900. It was the home of George Hartman, a real estate salesman between c. 1930 and c. 1936.

This building does not meet the criteria of the NRHP for architectural significance because of a lack of integrity. However, this building has sufficient architectural character to contribute to the proposed historic district.
