NOTES
Additional Information:This building first housed the Herman Bramer agricultural implement store. It operated as such briefly, then was a real estate office and soda fountain.

This building has some historical interest as the location of several commercial businesses. None are individually historically significant but contribute to the overall development of commerce in the Main Street Commercial Historic District.

Simply ornamented by a corbelled brick cornice, this red brick small four-bay commercial building was built around 1910 for Herman Bramer to house his agricultural implement store. Further characterized by rectangular windows with stone lintels, the Bramer building exhibits a completely remodelled storefront and canopy. Segmental arched windows are located in the cream brick south elevation. A one-story addition is located at the rear of the building.

The Herman Bramer Implement Store is a commercial vernacular building ornamented only by a raised brick cornice. Although this building is not architecturally significant, the Bramer building constributes to the historic architectural character of the proposed Main Street Historic District.
