2008--Last surveyed in 1979. the school was largely completed by the end of 1911; however, school did not start in this structure until February 1912. In 1923, the uppermost level was divided for use as two classrooms and to accommodate the incorporation of students from Summit School #6. Additions were made to the building in circa 1950, 1957, 1962 and 1968. The 1957 addition was designed by Eschweiler & Eschweiler. The school was incorporated into the Oconomowoc Area School system in circa 1959. The school closed on 1 June 2003 and a new Summit Elementary School was built down the road to the east. The school is scheduled for demolition in 2008 due to asbestos and mold issues.

**The school was demolished in September 2008.
