Additional Information:This large two story gable roofed building has been sided in vinyl. A stone addition is at the rear of the structure. S.F. Nichols, who together with E.O. Pond founded the village of Albany, was a native of the state of New York. He was involved with Albany's saw mill and was employed as a mail contractor with routes in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota.
