Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. This cruciform plan Astylistic Utilitarian form building was constructed in 1903 to house exhibits at the fairgrounds. This building has a concrete pad foundation and clapboard-clad walls. 1995- "This cruciform plan one-story Astylistic Utilitarian form building has been the principal exhibition hall of the fairgrounds since it was constructed in 1903. The building has a concrete pad foundation, walls that are covered in clapboards, and it is sheltered by a multi-hip monitor roof that is clad in metal. As with all the other fairgrounds' exhibition buildings, this one is lit by the windows in the monitors and by interior electric lighting; there are no windows in the side walls. This building, which has been variously known as the floral hall and the fair house and it was the subject ot a favorable opinion as to its potential National Register eligibility in a letter trom Paul Lusignian of the SHPO to the Vernon County Agricultural Society dated June 5, 1990." - "USH 14 Transportation Study ", WisDOT ID #1646-07-00, Prepared by Timothy F Heggland (1995).
