Additional Information: | 1995- cruciform plan two-story Queen Anne style house was probably also built in the 1890s and its original owner is also still unknown. The house has a rock-faced concrete block foundation, its walls are clad in clapboard, the gable ends are clad in octagonal-shape wood shingles, and the building is sheltered by a multi-gable roof covered in asphalt shingles. Windows appear to be mostly original one-over-one-light double hung wood sash. The front porch on the northeast-facing main facade appears to have been enclosed at a later date. 2018: "This two-and-one-half-story Queen Anne-style house was built c.1900. It has an irregular footprint, rock-faced cast stone foundation, clapboard siding, and combination hip-and-gable roof. At the front, northeast corner of the house is an enclosed porch with one-over-one sash windows and a small pediment above the door with inset diamond paneling. The pediment projects from the front slope of the hip roof, which has been extended down to the front roofline of the enclosed porch. The south half of the fa9ade is a full-height pedimented gable bay. Centered on each story is a pair of one-over-one sash windows. Within the fish-scale-shingled pediment is a small single-light square window. Centered on the south elevation is a full-height pedimented gable bay with canted windows. A pedimented gable bay is also on the north elevation, but it is flush with the wall. There are multiple one-story additions at the rear of the building, including an attached two-car garage at a right angle from the house that gives the entire building a pronounced L-shaped footprint." |
