Additional Information: | Third story portico feature. Once had a dumbwaiter. This home was built for John Jennings. Mr. Jennings was born in Northport in 1870. He was well educated having attended college at Notre Dame and Sacred Heart College in Wisconsin for two years respectively. Jennings became an agriculturalist in the Town of Mukwa and was successful at breeding livestock. From 1908=1013, he owned a sawmill business in New London, which was destroyed by a fire in 1913. In 1917, Jennings owned 550 acres in the Township of Mukwa while still residing at this residence in New London. |
