NOTES
Additional Information:This stucco-clad Two-Story Cube form farm house belongs to a farm that was owned by Ed Unseth from at least 1915 to 1965. Previous to that it was owned by P.F. Unseth in 1896 and E.T. Unseth in 1878 and it is believed that it was constructed during the latter's period of ownership. The other buildings on the farm are modern agricultural outbuildings.

1995- "E. T. Unseth Farmstead Complex, VE26/20-21. The only building of any note on this farmstead is the early American Foursquare (late Two-Story Cube form?) farmhouse, which is clad in stucco and has a shallow-pitched asphalt shingle-covered hip roof with deck, on the west slopes of which is placed a later shed-roofed dormer. The house appears to be in good, largely original condition and its most visible feature is a one-story wraparound verandah that encircles its northeast corner and whose supports have been renewed in recent years. This house is part of a farmstead that features several large barns and other outbuildings, all of which appear to be relatively modern buildings. Currently, this 1 00-acre farmstead is owned by Argyle & Jeanette Amundson, but it was previously owned by Ed Unseth from at least 1915 to 1965, and it was owned by P. F. Unseth in 1896 and by E. T. Unseth (along with the adjacent 80-acre farm to the west) in 1878, which makes it highly likely that the farmhouse was constructed by a member of the Unseth family. No information about the original owners has been found, but the ordinary design of the farmhouse, the slight alteration of its front porch, and the absence of any historic farm buildings all make it unlikely that this farmhouse is eligible for inclusion in the NRHP. It also remains to be seen whether this complex is actually located within the APE for Option 5."
